I never know until I set these fingers free, just what I am about to share. Today is a beautiful day outside but my mind is so full of ambiguity on so many subjects that I have played nothing but Solitaire at many different venues to pass the last seven hours. I have kept a journal for over 25 yrs. but to share it here is not what Blogger is all about.
My mind is full of worry about the election coming up November 6th, 2012. I can't help but wonder not who will be elected, but what will happen if promises being made, are not promises at all. I know who will reign, but will he be the King I have prayed he would be? His words are so perfect to gather the Nation and claim most citizens as his electors. We can have at least hope with Barack Obama. There is no hope in the GOP. I am an independent; I work nor get paid by any agency for my decisions or my interests. My worries wonder how much further down can we go and still keep our ground sacred? We have lost more than money; we have lost our individuality. There is nothing this government is not monitoring; our phones, our internet, our driving and directions, cameras while cashing a debit card or driving down a street, our choice of food, our choice of clothes, our choice of shoes, where we are every minute of every day, even what toilet paper we prefer. How much gas do we use? What photos are our interest? Who are we calling, who is calling us? Have we taken medications? Have we had surgeries? What would be a good way to tag us under the skin, the new way to find your dog or your kids? Will it be mandatory soon? Why do you go to the doctor? What shows do you watch on TV? The "flu" shots you receive from your doctor, what are they exactly? If your immune system is not healthy, you should not be getting a "flu" shot of any kind, yet now there are two a year mandatory, especially for people on Social Security, SSI, Medicare, or Medicaid. This fact scares me.
What is in store for my children? I thought the war was winding down for the participation by the United States of America. My nephew just got his papers; he leaves Thanksgiving. He only had 6 months left in a lifetime of reserves. He is a helicopter pilot. It is my belief that any efforts needed by troubled countries, can be had by a fleet of ships holding some of the best soldiers ready to help when called upon. Have we not taught the simple lesson of police work to countries we have died to do so? How many of our young men and women will it take on all sides to teach this lesson. How many families in all countries involved, will be left to ruins and sadness? I know some of the most intelligent countries involved can see the benefits of a democracy? Freedom of choice? Freedom?
Two years ago, I thought I received a promise that the soldiers would be heading home within two days of that Labor Day. Thinking back, the words were, "I'll have your soldiers out of Iraq in two days". I said, "I'll believe it when I see it." He said, "You're on". It was that message that told me this is a man of his word. It only lasted a week or so. What he did not promise me was that a new war was just over the hills in Afghanistan, and our soldiers were being diverted to that area, the most dangerous of all lands we have traveled since Iraq. Will the promises I hear now be broken within a week? Will the $40 Trillion dollars per month-for as long as it takes to re-establish banks, huge companies of financial interests? Wall Street? Government? Is the Federal Reserve be the beginning of the end of the upper, middle, lower, poor, or homeless Americans? Tent cities have already been established in Florida, and possibly other places. Men hear of work so they travel; so many travel that they just stay for awhile in the tent cities to chat about how to fix the problems in the USA. How can they go home to a hungry family? The banks are still taking homes, homes that have been in their families for many years. There is no mercy, except to re-finance once again. Nobody I know trusts any bank or mortgage company. It costs money to re-finance no matter what the low interest rate might be when all the papers are signed and the tiny print, which is the most important print on the papers, is missed or not understood. A lawyer is needed by individuals or families to undertake another stab at trust with institutions like these.
We are in the biggest black hole of our lives in the United States of America. We were sold-out before 9/11, as American leaders have always had the belief that war brings money or jobs to the U.S. What about the death toll? Over 54,000 soldiers died in Viet Nam, an undeclared war. So many others were damaged for life. Many of them are the homeless, or the hopeless wandering the streets. Seeing your soldier friends, the best friendships made by many a man, blown up into the trees, shredded by IUD's, and the sad promise to suicide bombers that there are many virgins waiting for them after their death - there are not. Thou Shalt Not Kill. Who is ignoring that? All the leaders and men who are choosing Evil and Money or Love and Peace.
I will do my best to influence this administration to concentrate on this subject before the election; as duties have been put on a back burner as I see it. The House of Representatives just stopped a bill for Soldier's Jobs; only $1 Billion dollars for the fund to make sure our soldiers have a way to support themselves when they return "home". It was refused by the GOP. A couple of Congressmen did not vote for this, the rest did. There will be no money as promised for Jobs for Soldiers.
It is my understanding and prayers that www.LinkedIn.com/in/kittykelso who has gathered the greatest group of all Country leaders; the best of the best people to help put together a job board of available work, and match it to all people who come looking for it and signing up. It will cost you nothing. Become a member of LinkedIn family, and look for HELP ME, or Work for Workers. This project is in the making; it is my understanding the board is almost ready to be filled with promise and fulfilled promises to all American citizens, and also people wanting to work across the globe.We will rebuild America; it is our strength that carries the hope for so much of the world's people. We will list as many jobs and projects as we can. We will finally stop touting our successes, but show you we can make a difference for you, your families, and of course for your children. Never lose your sense of faith, hope, and charity - even if it is just a smile or a favor within your power. Please be patient. We do not want war on this land. We will not have war on this land, no blood shed, no more sadness. 9/11 should always be in your mind. No one wins. Americans will not even know who they are fighting? Who owns us really? Do we hold a controlling interest or is that gone too?
